SUMMER DAY CAMP LUNCH OPTIONS
Please note the following change to the lunch policy
Teen campers must bring their own lunch on Thursdays (or money to purchase lunch on the field trip when applicable) whether they are going on the trip or not. Lunch is not available for purchase through Simply Gourmet on these days.
Middler and Senior campers must bring their own lunch on Field Trip days (or money to purchase lunch on the field trip when applicable) whether they are going on the trip or not. Lunch is not available for purchase through Simply Gourmet on these days.
Camp lunch is provided by Simply Gourmet Catering which specializes in offering kid-friendly, high-quality food at a fair price. Parents purchase meals through the Simply Gourmet website. It is very important that you correctly identify your child’s camp group when registering. Please click here for a list of the groups.
Does my child have to order lunch through the caterer?
No, this is only an option. You can always choose to send in your own lunch from home. We provide water throughout the day, a morning and afternoon snack, and water and juice for lunch. Lunches are stored in refrigerators.
Can I order lunch only one day a week?
You may order lunch as often as you like.
What are the lunch choices?

How do I order?
Before your child starts camp, go to Simply Gourmet's website and create your account. Your child will be registered according to their Camp Group. Payment is made directly to Simply Gourmet caterers, NOT to Day Camp Sunshine.
How far ahead do I have to order lunch?
72 hours - 3 full days prior to that day. For example, to receive lunch on Monday, the order must be in by 11:59pm on Thursday.
How does Simply Gourmet handle food allergies?
Visit http://www.simplygourmetlunches.com/ingredients.php for more information about allergies. You can see the ingredients for every item that Simply Gourmet offers. Simply Gourmet does not use nuts in any of their food.
What happens if my child doesn't like the food that the caterer provides, after I have already ordered for a week?
Log into your account and edit your order choices. Remember there is a 72-hour advance notice requirement for changes in orders too.
What if I order lunch and my child does not come to camp?
There are no refunds if a lunch is ordered and a child misses camp that day for any reason.
Are the lunches healthy? Are organic products available?

My child is always hungry! Is there enough food in the catered lunch?
